How Much Bandwidth Does a New Forum Need?

Hello everyone, I’m trying to estimate hosting costs before launching my forum. If I have around 50–100 daily visitors, how much monthly bandwidth would I need? Does forum software use a lot of server resources? Will Rightservers.com vps hosting service be worth using? Any beginner tips would be appreciated.

    Hello,

I once filmed a video on the topic of creating a forum. I remember now that I used a server with 2 cores and 3GB of RAM. This was enough to place an application for creating a forum and for 100-200 people to visit the site and not crash. I used our Hourly Cloud servers for this.

However, it's always better to play it safe and get a better server because there may be even more visitors, so my advice is 3 cores and 6GB of RAM.

And you can get such a server from our N3 package. You can get acquainted with it here - https://mivocloud.com/nvme-vps
