QHoster.com and asvhost.com VPS deals are worth trying. There are a lot things to learn, but when I have questions and need help, their guru are there answered and responded to my needed quickly and friendly.
As for reliable VPS host in Europe, can recommend Exmasters.com solutions. Server uptime 99.99% and support i rarely use it since i am an experienced webmaster.
