Hey friends!
What are your thoughts on the latest release from ChatGPT?
Many are saying it could put programmers, game designers, and system administrators out of work. On one hand, it’s a bit scary, but on the other, I'd like to point out—it couldn't even pass the toy helicopter mission from GTA Vice City, so I think the revolution is postponed for now!
On top of that, humans can actually complete brutal precision games like I Wanna Be The Boshy, whereas an AI would most likely fail miserably at processing that kind of unforgiving frame-perfect precision and pattern reading.
Jokes aside, while these models are getting insanely good at generating boilerplate code, scripting, and brainstorming game concepts, they still lack real-world context, architectural thinking, and emotional intuition. Rather than replacing engineers and designers, AI is simply becoming a high-powered assistant that speeds up routine tasks.
Until an AI can plant all four bombs on the construction site with an RC helicopter on its first try and beat Boshy, our jobs are completely safe!
